Water... Not as we know it!

Earth is a water-rich world. It is believed that water is crucial for supporting life. As astronomers peered deeper into space they discovered more and more water. In fact, everywhere we looked we found water. In most of these cases, the water is found not in the form of a liquid but either as a gas, on the surface of the sun and in vast clouds surrounding quasars, and as a solid, harder than rock on the likes of Pluto forming vast mountain ranges. New experiments reveal that water can behave in very strange ways at both ends of this spectrum, one end with ice behaving like a liquid and the other superheated gas behaving like a crystalline solid. Let's dive in and find out more.

I get the feeling that there's even more to discover about water. Lots more.

Very interesting! Water is still a mysterious substance that needs further investigation.

Sounds quite similar to the Pierre Robitaille liquid metallic hydrogen photosphere surface of the Sun.
The energy of the Sun comes as a pure Poynting flux directly out of the photosphere which puts a tremendous back pressure and vibration onto the photosphere, creating a solid surface and granulated structures.

Now I’ve got water on my brain but in this case it’s all good. Thanks for another remarkable video!

Im reminded of Kurt Vonnegut. Ice-9; an end of world weapon that got loose in "Cats Cradle"

It’s gonna be really fun in the future to see this knowledge applied to science fiction and fantasy. Imagine a liquid metal character like in Terminator but based on this.

Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink.

Thanks, Gareth. You know where I'd expect to see super-ionic ice? Galactic cores, created in, on, or by the plasmoid itself.

On Star Trek Voyager there are wicked aliens from what they call 'fluidic space'. Cool yeah? haha

So the "newly" discovered water on Mars is superionic? Thanks Gareth for a mindblowing video.
