The whole point of a parody is to be completely detached from the reality of the thing it's parodying so...You've got it all wrong

and of course it's just a parody, and they skimped on a few details. If Jacob is a married man, he will wear a beard, but never a moustache. (custom goes back to Civil War--soldiers had moustaches, so did Lincoln, so the Amish man shaves his upper lip (bet some of them do not even know why). Also, the woman's dress will always have a cape (additional fabric piece on the front), to cover any resemblance of female breasts. Finally, only SOLID colors. no plaid (as in the spinning sequence)
