You trade gold for blue crystals. Silver is not the main currnecy

The rotating deals on buying materials for blue crystals people rarely buy from unless the blue crystals amount costs less in gold then buying that amount in gold off the auction house.

The crystalline aura benefits are so meager that players in the other servers want more in it to make it worth buying because its usually not. Though ofc that could change now that it costs blue crystals. The free triports and ship travel fee's where always in the aura, they normally cost only 100-400 silver for tripods and 9k-13k silver for the ship fee's. But players have millions of silver at all times so it was pretty useless. However adding the pet contract into the aura actually made it worse because before u could just buy the pet contract alone for less blue crystals. (but that will depends on blue crystal prices in the exchange)

No you never retained those perks in ranked pvp/arena. arena is 100% equalized and separated from pve. guild v guild and random open world duels are not. but gvg isnt a main focus at all.

Auction house opens up at lvl 26, so about 4-5 hours into MSQ. it is in the beta

Sorry I know u are playing the gamer slower researching as you go probably but you unlock the pet at lvl 13, you start the game at lvl 10, so the first 2 hours at most. You never had to rent pets, only the contract. The stats the pets give are very minor, people care more about the bag space and the ability to open auction house, mail, vault from anywhere.

I've been playing as a bard. It's a lot of fun so far I've done every quest (up to where I'm at) right now server is under scheduled maintenance ready to play more but I have to wait lol really fun must try it out. Doesn't cost much for beta oh and try a bard easy playstyle and easy to solo

Multiple currencies, currency exchange, login bonuses, obnoxious notifications, account bound items, deals, etc. these are typical pay to win features. Core gameplay is decent, beyond that, the game is a free to play blob, designed to drain money from the players.

I wish they wouldn't have taken out the original prologue's for the characters. I'm sure they did it to save om the voiceover's for each, but I thought they were really fun to play. Now everyone does the same generic one.

Since you can buy materials to upgrade your gear wich is otherwise timegated. Its hard p2w in my opinion on the pve side.

Pvp has no p2w i my opinion.

Game is a blast so far, even most basic Warrior Berserker class felt unique and powerful, Gunslinger having 3 types of weps to cycle thru as needed plus abilities for each of them made it my fave so far

Some of the UI looks identical to Tera. This does not bode well. Is this the same developer and does it have rng end game crafting? This is system you are not exposed to until you get to end game items and upgrading them. The upgrades are rng and the materials are store items and the in game farmable mats are time gated, so it almost forces you to buy the mats. Ok done with the video, this sounds exactly like Tera. It is fun until you hit end game. Bummer.

As a Korean, I don't know the standards of P2W from your point of view. However, I don't think Losstark is P2W. There are many ways to earn money in this game. If you are diligent, you will be able to earn enough money and enjoy the game.

Seems minor p2w leaning towards convenience. I like games that allow you to get the stuff for gold but I hope you can't turn it in to buying gold like bdo. Like buying a cosmetic then selling it in game for gold. That's paid gold in a nutshell..

F2p has always been deceptive advertising.Founders packs are also a joke like wtf is a founders pack, in reality it says the game is for sale, it has a price on it HOWEVER it doesn't end there because after buying the game at more than it is worth they throw a cash shop at you that is USUALLY carrying some form of p2w.
In other words 100% is a SCUMY business model and should NEVER be supported.The other issue with f2p games is they are very poorly made because al the dev is trying to do is sell a marketing gimmick and provide a game that cost little to make little to operate and is MOSTLY profit.
