In this video David explains what rotational kinetic energy is and how to calculate it.

Physics on Khan Academy: Physics is the study of the basic principles that govern the physical world around us. We'll start by looking at motion itself. Then, we'll learn about forces, momentum, energy, and other concepts in lots of different physical situations. To get the most out of physics, you'll need a solid understanding of algebra and a basic understanding of trigonometry.

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

I love that this guy can teach us for free, and still a much better job than my mechanical engineering lecturers that are being paid 90quid per hour

Could you integrate angular momentum to get angular kinetic energy?

Can u explain why the surface integral of a sphere is in terms of the eccentricity rather than the radius ?

Why is here Angular speed constant every where? In the previous lesson you said radius and Angular speed are inversily proportional (e.g skating

So why do moons/stars spin backwards creating an angular problem?

If an object isn't anchored at a point i.e it's rotating freely without any pivot, will it always rotate about it's center of mass, no matter if it's an irregular shape?

in minute 3.06 you mention that velocity is directly proportional to the radius. When we talk about angular momentum and there is absence of torque, angular velocity is inversely proportional to the radius. Why is it?
