At the end when someone was mowing the lawn, it reminded me when I bought a house and a few days later someone was mowing the lawn. Confused, I went and tapped him on the shoulder. I asked 'Um, who are you?', he said 'I'm the gardener'. Thought for a sec as I had no idea the property had an existing gardener then remembered I didn't have a mower, so I asked 'and how much do you get paid', He told me, and I said 'ok, carry on'. LOL And that's how I got a gardener. LOL Never did have to buy a mower.

Bring water to boil in pot. Add any amount of rice. Set timer to 17 minutes. Drain. Perfect every time. No measuring. I threw the rice pot away. Lol. My hubby taught me this.

Love your new house! Just wanted to chime in that ALL nonstick coatings on metal are toxic to prepare food on. Watch the documentary called “The human experiment” and your mind will be blown, I promise! Definitely must watch before you decide to have children because it’ll change your life for the better.

We used to have a rat problem at the boat yard (after new construction was started in the harbor) aaaggghhhh. And had one dedicated employee we would scream out for if we found or smelled one. He never minded scooping the nasty carcass up and disposing of it. Me, no way. That pool looks so inviting ~ be right over! With the Labrador ;)
