Been into comics my entire life, and gotten some great scores at yard sales, and hey, its about the thrill of the kill and making some money, but....when I make a real killing, and the item came from an elderly person or someone who doesn't look like hey have much, I've come back and handed them some money and said, hey that was worth a lot, here's something for you. Last time it was when I bought a first appearance of Deadpool for a buck, got $325 for it on e-bay and knocked on the people's door a couple days after I got paid and handed them $100, I was fine with my $224 profit. Sorry, if I don't always think its funny when people take advantage of others.

I went to a garage sale once found some really neat dishes 8 place setting 5 of each salad bowl, dinner plates, bread plate, small bowl, and coffee cups and sauces I paid 20.00 for all. Got home inquired about my find was afforded 1500.00 still have them they are absolutely beautiful. Homer Laughlin not fiesta ware these are china.

I found a retired, high quality, five piece matelasse Queen size coverlet set with a gorgeous seashell design in brand new condition for $4.00 total at a church sale some years ago. The set is worth $700! It's my absolute favorite!!!

There's people who takes advantage of the person who's looking for a good bargain at a yard sale. They sometimes overcharge for items. I stopped by a yard sale once on my way from work. I noticed two bowls (pretty pattern) I asked the price, the lady 's husband said before his wife could answer, $8.00. I looked up just in time to see the look he gave his wife. It was avery nasty look. I guess he didn't want a black person to buy it. Two bowls for eight dollars? The size of the bowls were cereal bowls. I didn't need the bowls that badly. I just walked away.

I found a vintage Nikon camera for 5$ at a yard sale, I kept it for years in a box, I sold it on EbaY for 650$ with the original straps and box it came in.
