As a Medical person, I do appreciate your explanation of the procedures and your expertise at doing the procedures. I especially enjoyed the video of the television show that you were on. I am a Retired Nurse and only dealt with gastroscopes and colonoscopes, so I found it very helpful to see how small the scope is for the ear.

I’m very impressed by your new tools 👍🏻 It takes a special kind of person to redesign a tool rather than just complaining about the existing one!

I can’t believe how many people just don’t have common sense. Whenever you talk about comments, it’s either people that don’t have anything to do except make everyone around them as miserable as they are, or people who have no idea what they’re talking about yet act like they have been doing your job longer than you have. Please try to ignore them and as soon as you figure out that it is one of those kind of comments, just move on. We love you just the way you are.

People please, this isn't actually done for your viewing pleasure, he's treating a real patient who has generously agreed to allow him to share it with us! Stop complaining and just enjoy it!

I am thankful for your detailed descriptions. It helps us when we become patients ourselves to have an intelligent discussion with our doctor and understanding what is said. You are a blessing sir

I love your passion for your job, and that teaching as you narrate is just the natural “side effect” of that joy. I love that I learn something every time I indulge my prurient obsession with earwax by watching your channel! People need to turn this around and have a bit of a think: What if they loved their work enough to make a daily video narrating it? Can you imagine? Your passion enriches my life! Crazy, right? Viva YouTube.

Neel, I really don't feel you should have to explain a medical procedure. I know you always do but I, myself am not a medial person and I'd never dream of saying anything negative on one of your videos. 99% of your comments are lovely and supportive. That 1% need to realise these videos are educational not just entertainment.

In listening to your response to the odd negative comment, I get the feeling they don't quite understand that you are subject to the laws of physics the same as everyone else. They will just have to get over it. I find your videos both informational as well as entertaining. I have rarely met any medical professional with your passion, brilliant skill, and compassion for you patients. I have a nephew who was born without nerve pathways in one ear and tonsils and adenoids oversized. As a result he would get ear infections and not realize until there was puss running out of his ear. He had several operations but eventually the bones in that ear eroded away. Fortunately he still has hearing in the other ear. Watching your videos has help me understand better how that happened. Please keep up the most excellent work, you are truly appreciated.

I was watching someone else the other day (not the uk) and i couldn't believe how rough they were being digging right by the ear drum with a pick. It gave me shivers. And made me appreciate your skill even more.

After seeing the ear drum right after the first plug is pulled out so quickly and efficiently, I couldn’t help but leaving full screen to leave a like.

I enjoy your narration of your procedures...you are a good educator in that you always explain exactly what's happening in each video, even if it's something you've explained often in past videos. I feel like some people in your position might get impatient and just refer people to your past videos for breakdowns of similar procedures, but you always take the time to explain as if it's brand new information (and for some people, it is!)

Thank you for your commitment to consistency, and for helping us all to learn with each video. 💯

Have you ever asked any patients if they would like the be on video (of their face) to see and hear their reaction when you remove? I know for some it’s super painful, but I would imagine the relief for some must be amazing and rewarding to witness!!

Great video and such large ear wax. I know your client was relieved to have that removed.

The best part of these videos imo is how indescribably satisfying it must be for the patient to have all that gunk out. Gives me the asmr tingles when I imagine what that feels like.
