The earpads of my headphones were super old and falling apart. One fell off somewhere and I lost it. Luckily, I had an older pair of headphones with perfect earpads, but a broken frame that made them impossible to wear. Used this tutorial to frankenstein the good earpads onto the pair with the functional frame :D

As a teenager the “stretch” part and the “hold it with your finger to prevent it from the edge poking out” part was so helpful. By the way, I had a Xbox Wireless Headset surprisingly only took me a few 8 minutes.
