This is the equivalent of me pointing my fan at my oven while it's closed

Somebody did this where they opened the phone and put the cooler on top of the CPU directly and they got much better results

I think the backcover glass and some plastic block the heat. It will be better, if you put it direct to the soc. Maybe than OC?

In the case of phones, removing the back glass and the inner plastic panels exposes the heat Shields, which would be a perfect place to add thermal paste and then the cooler.

There are actually fan cookies for your phone that cools temperature it’s just that they are a bit hard to find

the backglass (that's an s10 so it has glass not plastic since it's high end) it's not in contact with the CPU wich is at the top protected y some metal shielding and where he put the fan was on the nfc and wirkess charging coil on the battery. usually phones use the screen as a heatsink so if you take apart for example an s22 you wiil see that under the battery there's a copper pipe with some liquid inside that dissipates the CPU, gpu and battery heat to the screen. to make the fan effective he should replace that copper pipe with the fan . cheaper phones don't have the copper pipe so they rely on just some termal compund and protective shielding.hope it cleared any confusion. he's basically cooling just the glass

You gotta run it on loop, the phone heat soaks and eventually slows down, quite common on flagships running at full power, in that case the cooler would help quite a lot.

Do an extreme overclock and mount the cooler directly to the internals. That would be interesting and probably a lot faster since phone processors come limited from the factory due to thermals.

Bruh you need to take the case off and put it directly on the chip..it's like putting the CPU cooler on your PC case and seeing if the chip cools or not

Test it with consecutive tests. Run the benchmask like 10 times ina row or something and compare with and without cooler
