Promos and squash matches made universe mode 10x better

While I've been having my share of fun with 2K23, I've started to come to peace with the fact it's a completely different series and the previous one ended with 2K19. There's so many basic things that were just straight up taken out and without any logical reasoning behind it that I'd rather not dwell on it.

Never knew you could adjust audience density for wwe2k19, that must have been a really cool feature. Probably only worked for PC players though.

the nxt championship intros was really surprising to see taken out cause they literally still do it now

2k19 is the best wwe 2k game imo. I especially hate the current gameplay where you have to guess the button to reverse most of the time. Opponents get up way too quickly. There were sliders in 19 that could effect how long you stayed down.

I’d say the controls too. Yeah the combos are nice but I’d much rather have back chain grappling and one button finishers/signatures back.

Tbh Being able to see part of the match thats not just a cutscene has a nice touch of realism

I have 2K 19, 2K 22 and 2K23. I whole heartedly agree with 19 being the best. You have the wolf pack, the classic rock, Jericho, Goldust, and just way more. Not to mention promos.

2k19 is still the best of the series. U can have a real workhorse kick ass knockdown typa match. They bruise, they bleed better, they sell better. Better tired animations, crawling, tired pins. Genuine fatigue & allat

19 was going in the right direction and then boom they somehow forgot what they were building the games up to be.

2K22 and 2K23 are seriously a step down 2K19 was a masterpiece even 2K18 and 2K17 were good

i agree with body customization, on 2k19 i created a lot of youtubers from my country and in 2k23 it's a pain in the ass

It was cool that you could use the body morph feature in wwe2k19 back then, I'm not sure why they took that feature out for wwe2k23, that gives a reason why it was better than wwe2k23 customization on created superstars. Then again wwe2k23 is now more realistic and improved.

2k19 has been the best of the series IMO. 22 and 23 are decent, but 19 was so much better. Creation and gameplay both took major steps back with 22.
