The tired mechanic was huge in immersion. Even normal moves would be tiring in late game.

Just some additions
1. Squash match in exhibition/quick match
2. If you are dominating the match your opponent will walk out of the ring in frustration
3. You can do body morphing on caws

You know it's a great wrestling game when it is still relevant after all these years. Sucks that they removed all online features, otherwise people would keep still playing it and not the new 2k games.

Fun fact about 2k19, If you hold R1/RB and the grapple button at the same time for the first 30 seconds of a match you will do chain wrestling grapples only with anybody on the roster.

2K23 is good. But 2k19 was amazing was made by other developers and really shows that without help from actual wrestling fans, 2k don’t care or even know wrestling.

This is the Video I was hoping for people to make right when 2k23 was released. Instead too many people were praising what it does better then 2k22 while no one compared to the last real 2k wrestling sim that is 2k19. Thank you! I hope someone at 2k19 is taking notes!

2k19 will always be the top wwe 2k game for me. 2k23 is just the prettiest and vibrant game no doubt. But gameplay wise and fun factor, still 2k19. Those tired finishers never gets old.

To me, it seems 2K19 and 2K23 are the milestones for their respective eras of WWE 2K. Two great games that are genuinely trying to create fun for the player. We've come a long way since 2K20, as well

The big 3 for me that need to come back sooner than later are chain wresting/working holds (just gives matches a more natural way to start as well was slow some things down mid match), tired mechanic for all finishers and certain moves w/ collapsing/crawling pin, and the running Irish whip.

I just want the 2k19 controls back. I hate the fact the we have to grab the opponent first before doing light/heavy grapples. Also the heavy strikes went from like 5 to 3, and running grapples no longer have 2 but instead only 1, etc. The controls really suck.

been playing wrestling games since 1999 and i swear i thought 20+ years later the games would be more impressive than this but as soon as the developers add features that advance the gamplay and immersion they then remove other features its so frustrating. we had weapon finishers and weapon grapples way back on the ps2 games that should have been a standard feature by now. as well a tie up system which they added and then removed!!!!

This is why i am still playing WWE 2K19 eventhough I have the new WWE 😅. Kinda sad they turn off the online server for WWE 2K19.

WWE 2K19 is almost 5 years old and it's still 2k's greatest product ever, it didn't have any glitches or bugs on launch day, the game felt really fast and responsive, created arenas never had any issues, the skin tone was better in my opinion and the face paint wore off when you got hit in the face(like Finn balor) it was the wwe 2k game I played the most since I skipped the atrocious 2k20 game and I still remember it being so damn good, 2k22 and 23 had some improvements but for some reason both of these games lack some stuff that made 2k19 really amazing.
