During the incident with the Iron warriors, their Primarch Peturabo was effected as well. He was effected way longer than the Marine who turned 3000 in a matter of seconds, but Perturabo only stated that his joints feel a bit stiff and overal he appeared the same as befor. Even thou he probably aged ten thousands of years.
The whole thing as well as the H'Roth themselfs got completly retcont.

I heard “Hunts by manipulating time” and instantly thought of the weeping angels. Because….that’s exactly what they do.

The second pic you showed was one of the Slaught (I think that’s how you spell it), they’re arguably even worse than the Hrud are. They’re extremely intelligent and create constructs which can run through Space Marines quite easily, Omegon and Alpharius even struggled against them.

After watching a few of these shorts about "Warhammer40k" you got me thinking "wtf is Warhammer 40k?!" I had only seen the boardgame stuff at my local game store so I knew it was a boardgame but didn't know it went as deep as it did. So I went and started watching videos on Warhammer 40k and I gotta say I'm already in love with the lore and the whole series. I don't have the $ to play the boardgame but my god would I love to. But I can still enjoy the lore and maybe even make my own non cannon stories. Maybe one day I could buy the figured and do the boardgame and have my own figures with a backstory.

Two hrud in 40k could agree to meet during 200bc, latitude 50 longitude 50 1000 meters in the air at earth and that would be a reasonable set of coordinates to them. Theoretically considering they can travel through time you could kill a hrud and the same hrud could appear in front of you from the past or future

Hrud are cool and all, second pic is of the slaught not hrud. Unlike hrud who are questionably intelligent, the slaught possess a cruel and truly alien mind, being a sentient colony of bugs. They are literal nightmare fuel in a setting of grimdark.

Reasons of being nightmare fuel. They have hordes of zombies, biothralls and flesh constructs.

Their weapons are entropic in nature, annhilating things or aging them rapidly, similar to the hrud field.

They have a level of cruelty and malice that could make a drukkari faint

They are functionally immortal so long as enough of the swarm making up an individual survives.

Lastly they are skilled at being spies abd manipulation, some lore tidbit implies that they tried to snuff out humanitys expansion into the stars far before the dark age of technology

That's crazy that after, what must have been a terrifying up hill battle that the only thing that was learned just showed how powerful and scary the enemy really was.

Only thing weirder then these aliens are the stories they're involved in like the one with a tech priest heretek with half a brain who used them as a power source, same story that involved eldar an black templars working together lol like wtf.

1: The entropic field that they project does not only affect living matter but non-organic too. Armor will rust, corrode, and eventually fall off.
2: People call them "Bendies" because they're bendy.
