How to Repair and Fix a Cast Net : Holes and Braille Line Repair

I needed to fix a fishing cast net of mine so I figured I would show you guys how to do it as well! I repaired holes and braille lines on this net - the two major fixes most cast nets require to keep functioning and catching bait successfully. Enjoy!

3yrs ago I actually did individual knots with 10/15lb braid and the centrifical force throwing the net busted almost every knot....used 30lb and it still works to this day...

Great instructions, bit would be better if you used a black background so you can see the lines better than on the Gray.

I have a new net that the Braille lines catch. Any Ideas?

Okay so my only issue is I use a bag net and I've tried sewing my net up like this and it throws it off balance so what I done was took another net and old and unfixable and cut a good square out of it big enough to cover my hole in the bag net and sewed each piece evenly to keep my net in balance and close the hole up.

So what if I broke the plastic piece that the pulls the Braille lines?

That's wrong u haft to remake the meshes if u just see it shut ur not won't hang right or spread right but for a bait net it'll do
