Great vid. How did you cope with the rain? Heard mixed reviews of the helium. Did you miss rain pants? I'm Irish and over hear wind, rain and damp are the main struggles (along with the fecking soul destroying bogs).

Great gear choices. That trail looks amazing. I would love to hike in New Zealand someday. I think they filmed a lot of Lord of The Rings there. That would be amazing to see in person. New follower here. Crow

I have a question about your Tent. How dry did you stay with a mesh inner tent in the damp conditions in NZ. Would you recommend this tent (for two people) or do you have another suggestion in hindsight? Appreciate your response 🙂

Your camera is the third heaviest item - for myself, I’d go with a really good cell phone with complimentary camera I.e Samsung S22u. This would also eliminate cable, charger ect.
