NDA will come nearer to 400 easily. In 2019 they touched 352. This time they are stronger in states like TN(1-3) and bengal(4-7), odisha (4-5) and get more seats in UP(10-12). Also they have alliance in AP. Where NDA had 0 seats in 2019. This time minimum 15-17. In no state they aren't going to lose any seats.

You can't compare BJP of 2004 with BJP of 2024. BJP isn't a 20% vote anymore. It grew to bengal, odisha, hariyana, Maharashtra, Telangana, northeast in between these time. They get nearly the same in assembly elections. BJP is easily a 30% party now. Modi adds 10% in it. You can't say if modi retires BJP will reduce to 20%.
