I can confirm that in a car accident, the dog driver is usually at fault.

"A worker's comp case is very similar to a personal injury case but it doesn't include pain and suffering of the victim as a factor"
"Why? I did suffer A LOT"
"Well, yeah, obviously, YOU WERE WORKING"
"... I KNOW, RIGHT?"

Boss: "You can't make a personal injury case against your employer."

Boss, 20 seconds prior: _standing outside my office door with a baseball bat_

I never got my lost wages when I had a comp case

Depends upon the state. Georgia is a toss up for ruling on remote employees.

My husband was hit on the job. He is almost on the verge of settling his personal injury case after already settling the worker comp case after an appeal. My question is, does the personal injury case settlement pay for the medical bills for the worker comp case? The formula the lawyers are using just doesn't make any sense to us. After pointing that out to his lawyer, that person ended up not being at the firm anymore, and now it has been almost radio silence for a month.

THE 5th GEN 3 SERIES (I own one) sucks it was the like 2010 model he showed though (that face lift just gave the hood those distinctive lines down the hood towards the cab.)

What if your employer injures you while you're not on the job? Like being hit by one of their vans on your day off? A really awkward personal injury?

What if your boss is the one who hit you on the way to get cigars?

What if your boss puts their hands on you and it's partially their fault you got injured at work?

is this a joke😂
In Europe You go to the doctor, get treated and paid for medical leave by law

And if you want to go private for example for CT, it’s like $80 in Poland and $50 for consultation with specialist

How long do you have to file a worker’s comp complaint?

Hubster was hurt at work when he slipped on some ice. Part of his job at a parts store required him to install car batteries. He was going back inside and slipped on some ice. He was smart enough to tell the boss, thank God. He didn't hurt right away, but by the end of the day he could barely walk. Workers Comp said it was the landlord's fault, landlord said it was the snow removal company's fault, snow removal company said it was Workers Comp.
We ended up having to get a lawyer. It was Workers Comp and we did get a small settlement, but it was hassle.

In this case, depending on the severity, I'd recommend you get your own lawyer. Workers comp works for the company. The other driver's insurance wants to pay as little as possible

My dad was a Private Investigator for several decades.
He investigated wrongful death cases, especially ones involving cops, worker's comp cases, personal injury cases, like falls at restaurants.
My siblings and I got to eat out a few times, or go to shows/events so he could investigate but we were his cover 🤣

To clarify, you have to be on the job. In Washington of you log off to walk your dog you are no longer in the course of employment, so it really is fact specific and state specific.
