Your math is fine and your answer is correct, but I am left wondering if you have ever actually seen a spark plug. I'm pretty sure that those images in the diagram are supposed to represent shot absorbers not spark plugs! 😀

Very informative. Thank you. What software did you use to write the equations and use that eraser? That was very cool. "15" is the correct answer, as multiplication comes first, and then addition. I won't talk about division or subtraction, as they weren't involved in this. But if they were, it"s division first, then multiplication, then addition and subtraction.

The correct answer is: unsolvable.

It is a trick question, to get people to 1. Not apply BEDMAS.
2. Miss that the picture has changed.
3. Create comments.

In mathematics if a picture is given a value, that picture must be exact to assume it's value elsewhere. Just because the picture of the pair of shocks is 2, you can't assume that the picture of one is 1. That might as well be a picture of a goat.

Since there isn't any parenthesis, shouldn't it be 5+1 × 10 = 60?

Those are shocks, not spark plugs, I'm not a car guy but I know that much, never in my life until recently have I ever seen math done the wrong way, sure I'm uneducated but whoever says you can do math other ways to it works for you were bigger idiots than me.
The image clearly shows 5+1×10
5+1=6 and 6×10=60 you can't change the numbers or how they are shown, sure 5+10=15 but that's not the freakin question if you want to play that game it should have been 3×5 but I bet you'll tell me that isn't 15 even a freakin calculator shows 5+1×10=60

This answer is wrong because if you try to plug in the answers you got with the other equations it doesn’t solve them
