This is something you have to eat right away. I would use waffle fries though because they're more capable of absorbing moisture without losing crunch.

I think Newfie Mess would be so popular in the states. Start with homemade fries then you add either ground beef or leftover turkey (sometimes referred to either Hamburger Mess or Newfie Mess respectively), fried onions, deep fried cut up hot dogs (some add green pea's) top it off with a ton of shredded cheese, uncooked bread stuffing (we call it dressing in newfoundland) and all the hot gravy it can handle. My Mouth is watering lol.
