$8k - $9k off that 2025 RAM gives the appearance of nice, but $60k for a 1500 is STILL way too much. There needs to be a complete reshuffle of MSRP’s to turn the industry around.

The St Augustine Toyota still has a $3, 500 extra profit mark up fee on new Toyotas. Unpremeditated greed. While I’ve bought 6 Toyotas at this dealership, I won’t be back because of their greed. Their ad says they are here to WOW you. WOW!

I would rather walk than buy another car from a dealership again. The greed is sickening

The overflow lots, sometimes in a field, is where the mice come from and get into the new car engine bays.

I'm from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and Clay Clooney dealerships mainly try to attract the hispanic community. They have commercials in Spanish TV stations. Most of their customers can't speak English and they think that all those add ons are mandatory for the purchase of the vehicle. I would never recommend them.

We were in Athens Georgia this weekend and observed an extreme over flow of vehicles at Dealerships. It was so bad their over flow cars are parked up close to Broad Street and some vehicles are parked in between the Cape Myrtle’s. If I went down by the Stadium I bet dealers would be parking cars “between the hedges!” American Greed at its finest! Go Dawgs!

This is simple. Dealers don't lower prices because they think their S..T doesn't stink!

When I shop for a car, if I see market adjustment fees, I will move on to another dealership. I guess it makes sense to price yourself out of the market and for your business to go under, than to just be honest. 🙄

Just left the dealer. F450 lariat. Lowest they would take is $91k with a bunch of extra fees it came out to $98k with taxes. I told her “hard pass”. She asked why. I told her it’s an $80k truck or $85k out the door. She was baffled that I didn’t want to pay full price.

It’s a special treat to see the CarEdge guys together for a broadcast! I love the fun father-son banter, Ray’s perspective and candor, and Zach’s real-time stats.

The best though are Ray’s rants and the look on Zach’s face when Pops gets crazy. SO MUCH FUN! We DO need someone to tell it like it is about the car industry and Ray provides that. Watching Zach’s various reactions to Ray is icing on the cake. Thanks guys, we love you both!

I wanted to share a deal i made thru long beach honda. A 21 chevy colorado z71 with 16, 021 miles They had listed $39, 859 after using your free info on them i was able to get it to $34, 459. With that being said night one of owner ship check engine light. Took it back they said air intake line was loose. And then two days later check engine light again. This time i took it to a chevy dealer to have a troubble code check. They came back saying camshaft solenoid and it was covered by chevy preowned warrente so ive had the truck for about 2 weeks now and couldnt have done it with out your awsome videos!

I went in and looked at a 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata yesterday. Not only were they not willing to budge a nickle on the price, they offered me $10k less than the low end on KBB for my trade and said I couldn't get a better offer anywhere else. They then got made when I told them I wasn't interested and tried to hold my car keys hostage. Worst experience ever.

Ray, I kid you not, I had a sty once that just refused to go away. Hurt like the dickens. Never had one before, and someone told me go stand on the corner and say "Sty, sty in my eye, catch the next one that passes by." Felt stupid, but did it. Next morning, gone! Never had one since, so what the heck...give it a try.

Their refusal to sell is plain Greed!!! They think they can keep doing this to their customers. Let them all fail. I can wait.I’m currently taking pubic transportation and I’m loving the savings.

Ray your voice reminds of the radio show Car Talk Click and Clack on NPR. I am envious of the relationship between you two.. you guys act like two best friends.

For some reason I feel like the Dealerships are waiting to be bailed out by the government, like they’re a bank or something.
