The only issue I really have with the mob vote is just the immediate scrapping of the losers ideas. It would be 10x better if they (hypothetically) did like a losers bracket on some mob votes where, instead of adding 3 new mobs that the community is going to cry over because we don’t get them all, just take a few from previous votes and bam, less complaints, better ideas, and the community gets more into it because it’s like sort of redemption for the mob.

What's funny is that every mob vote mob thats been shown as been modded within a day with it being revealed with all its feature that were shown it their short trailers. Yet it takes Mojang forever to even add a single mob or block to the game. It took nearly 3 years for the Warden to release to both Bedrock and Java. People talk about how companies like Gamefreak and Blizzard are lazy (which they kinda are to be fair) Mojang is the biggest offender.

Well I didn't except to be here again, disagreeing with your opinion again.

Youtubers don't just rig the vote into what they want, you argued they can use their following which is true but you also failed to mention that the majority of their audiences are little kids who probably never even heard of sites such as twitter, which were nessacary for past votes in order to...vote. Even if you want to argue that (which is fair enough considering the Glow Squid) you do realise when multiple creators have clashing opinions it evens out right? Especially the big ones. But even then you said how there are 140 million players. Out of those there are at least, 5-10 million who have AT LEAST heard of mob votes, so it's what they want. Don't want a mob? Don't vote it. People have the choice to vote for what they want and free will, those who mindlessly followed creators only to regret it simply voted for the wrong mob without thinking. If people are too stupid to cast their own vote what makes you think they'd be able to understand a whole 3 new mobs anyway. But with that I do have to say there's a much better way mob votes could and definitely should be done.

Mob votes are literally supposed to give the community control over minecraft and its future. But the way they are now its just an excuse for mojang to be lazy. So how should it be done? The community create a bunch of fan made mobs and submit one per account (or launcher ig to prevent ppl doing multiple submissions), perhaps within 24 hours or with a limited amount of submissions. Then mojang will pick out their favourite mobs and choose about 10 which the community vote on. In the end anywhere from 2-5 mobs could be added all suggested by the community.
