In the Mountains of Jammu and Kashmir when bitten by a snake they stop the bloodflow by tying the area to prevent the posion spreading. Then they go hospital. Some of them live at least 45 mins to 2 hours away from hospitals

if the patient is already unconscious in the beginning, should we assess her using the DRSABCD first or the snake bite first? because both is also crucial .

Why from the bottom to the top and not from top to bottom (where you force the blood to stay at the end of the extremity?
