I can make my peace with the haphazard handling of physics (sort of) but what annoyed me most was the briefing with the holographic computer screens showing a history of the Torretto clan through the years. They used footage from the previous films. How the hell was there a camera floating above the middle of a river as Dom and Brian went over a cliff in a car in a desert in the middle of nowhere. I have never in my life yelled out in a theatre. ‘OH COME ON’ Not ashamed I did it. Not ashamed at all.

1. It hurts me to my bones that the "Tight!" catchphrase never gets love. It's my favorite. I even love it more than Super easy, Barely an Inconvenience
2. Han always looks high, so maybe that was the point of the hallucination scene
3. I appreciated the twist with Ritchson's character, showing that Dom was so cocky he thought he'd convert that guy like he converted Shaw and Hobbs. He better not switch sides in 11!

When i was a kid people were killed all the time in animated tv shows. Speed Racer, Marine Boy, Johnny Quest ect.

Han eats to cover up/ as a replacement for his smoking habit(Setup in fast and the furious 3 and the explained in Fast 5)

Clearly though the writers are making so many of the characters basically the same now that pretty much we associate them with both

I remember a time when Hollywood would make films like 'Seven Alone' (a family of kids have to make their way on the Oregon Trail after their parents die along the way), or Dramatic films like 'Coma' (when her friend falls into a coma after a routine surgery, a doctor tries to discover exactly why her friend and many other people have experienced the same thing), or what used to be called EPICS ' Dr. Zhivago' ( Russian history unfolds in the background of a tender and troubled romance) but now, they don't seem to be able to write that well. It's as if a first year creative writing class was given all the jobs in Hollywood. You get people writing fist fight scenes who have never been struck by a fist. You get films where what should be ugly people (Carrie remake) being 'picked on' by their classmates written by people who have never been picked on. As writers know, you can only write what you know.

now about people dying part.
these days i kinda have conscious of people dying in movies like when bomb got off and there was literally a devastating effect ( no one cared, no conseques). later, the leads of the film kills bunch of agency guys. those were kinda soldiers doing their duties, following orders. if villian did it, its okay, we undertand there no moral compass there but leads of the film are doing it as easy without any guilt. Earlier, I didn't used to care to noticed these things maybe, now, on every kill i felt well that guy must have a family and the good guys killed him. these new consciousness was heavy for some reasons, dkw. 😅

ACTUALLY people did die in the explosion. The news report said "Casualties were kept to a minimum but the damage was catastrophic." Minimum isn't the same as ZERO.

They should run a plot hole or logic test with Ryan George every time before confirming any story.. and this goes for all the movie makers.

There's a certain level of "switch your brain off and just enjoy the show" movies that I can get behind. F&F and Transformers were always two franchises that I just could not turn my brain off enough to enjoy.

Jason Momoa waited until 4 movies to come seeking revenge. After Dom and his family have become experienced super spies who gained super strength on top of immortality in the form of rising from the dead whenever they want.
