Kudos to the showmakers for using a Czech sounding surname Panachek. Sure, it's americanized in its spelling but I can see it being a Czech surname. And Steven is an American version of a Czech name. So I can see a guy named Štěpán Panáček changing his name to Steven Panachek. It's just a small thing but often when American show or filmakers make some guy a Czech, the name is often Russian sounding.
