The pain in his eyes when she turned around she knew this needed to happen. They both needed to understand how painful this was for both of them. It's shows like this. Moments like this, that make me tear up and forget its even a TV show

I haven’t watched the show since he left and this was the first time I had seen it in 10 years. It was like he’d never left. The chemistry between them is still amazing! Even she’s clearly pissed at him you can tell her feelings for him are still there too! Amazing scenes!

It's the line "Where's the exit". That made it very real. I am not inferring there was a hidden meaning; it is just that, IRL, something like that puts you into an emotional space similar to shock. She's trying to pull herself out of "Liv/El" into "Captain" mode and her brain is still trying to catch up. That was a tiny, beautiful piece of writing/acting.

The reason this show is so addictive is the acting and chemistry between Benson and Stabler as colleagues, partners, friends. The love Stabler for his wife Kathy is authentic and its heartbreaking 😢😢

y'all remember when he told her kathy left him and said of kathy "how do you walk away, " right? i think she's referencing his own words and by his expression, he knows. so he knows 1. his impact on her bcuz his words stay with her and 2. how much he hurt her bcuz his leaving hurts her like kathy's leaving hurt him... and he was big hurt. she's really revealing a lot to him with such simple words.

This is why I hope someday there’s a crossover between Chicago PD and law and order organized crime. I swear when it comes to Elliott, Stabler and Hank Voight they have a lot to talk about sad stuff. I mean yeah, they would get along just fine considering they’re both ruthless at their jobs not to mention the pain of losing love ones really gets you.

I think shooting that girl really busted elliot up inside, so it took him awhile to get together with his old squad. Also elliot is working in a different type of law enforcement now, which has something to do with the raw emotional guilt he feels over shooting a teenage girl in the squad room. I think knowing elliot that shooting however justified took him a long time to get over.
