It warms my heart to see non New Mexicans talking about everyday things and things I've grown up with. You don't really see many talk about New Mexico in general. Born and raised in Albuquerque and don't see myself living anywhere else.

Native Albuquerque NM here! All of these seem like a norm to me, but seeing it coming from an outsider makes me chuckle. Great video! Thank you for visiting my city. #10 is not 100% true. We have the worst drivers here.. literally

Raise your hand if you are from New Mexico!!!! (I'm from SF)
And thank you for getting the New Mexican food right. No one does.
And, the weather is ANYTHING but predictable here. But, in the summer, it's actually just hot until July, when we get monsoon rains. Thank you for this awesome video!!!!

I grow up in Albuquerque and yes we put chili on everything. I moved to Texas after I graduated in 2004.i miss my 505 so much. Best time of year is when everyone starts roasting chili peppers.

I'm from Albuquerque and I love it here and one thing I would have added because believe it or not alot of people don't know that New Mexico is apart of the United States

I randomly came across the video, native Burqueño here. I lived seeing an outsiders perspective of the city! My wife is a travel journalist and writes a lot about the city and state so I am always glad when I see someone else share something positive. We actually started dating as she was writing a book about Albuquerque.

I loved it in Albuquerque when I went last year in September. :)

Carne adovada is the red chile marinated pork at Cocina Azul. Mmmm! And there are many roadrunners in southern California, too. You arrived in a cold wave, the edge of even worse cold that hit Oklahoma to Houston and San Antonio. That's rare - they usually have a steady climate but Dec-Feb it's often chilly and not warm, low desert like Phoenix.
