Показать описание
Wall hung kitchen cabinets are a useful feature to any kitchen, they are excellent for storage and look great too. Learn how to hang a wall cabinet with this step by step guide from one of our Wickes experts.
In this video our Wickes expert fits a corner cabinet. These are the steps to hang your wall cabinet:
1. Mark up exactly where you want your wall cabinets to hang, use a spirit level to mark where the bottom and the sides of the wall unit will be.
2. Check how the cabinet will hang on the brackets by checking the back of the cabinet - you'll see the hook that will hold it to the wall bracket.
3. Using a tape measure, measure the distance this hook is from the top and side of the cabinet.
4. Mark those measurements on the wall along with the positions of the screw holes using the bracket as a guide.
5. Check there are no pipes or wires beneath using a cable and pipe detector.
6. Put on safety glasses and gloves to drill holes into the wall.
7. Place the correct wall plugs into the holes and screw the bracket into place, repeat with the second bracket.
8. Lift the cabinet into place slightly above the brackets and lower so the unit brackets hold onto the wall brackets.
9. Finally, to make sure the cabinet is level you can adjust the height of each bracket using the adjuster block, use a spirit level to measure.
