The submarine component of America’s nuclear triad, Ohio-class submarines come armed with up to 24 Trident II submarine-launched ballistic missiles. The Trident II has a range of 7,360 kilometers, with a reentry speed of Mach 24, making the Ohio-class submarine capable of delivering nuclear weapons from anywhere in the world within minutes. Each Trident missile can carry eight independent reentry vehicles, with a 475-kiloton warhead aboard each. If an Ohio crew were to launch its entire payload, dozens of cities would be destroyed in nuclear fire.

Does anyone else notice that at around 14 seconds in, he uses the wrong image? He uses a Typhoon class instead of Ohio class. And I'm pretty sure that it can only hold 20 trident 2 that has a max operational range of 12, 000KM (7500 miles)

You got the Ohio class summary wrong. You show the Ohio class submarine as a Russian typhoon class submarine that is the biggest in history so the Russians are using a nuclear submarine that is theirs against them selves.

The mainland, US, or Russia, for that matter is screwed, if any nuclear sub is off their shore at the start of a nuclear war. Both countries have opposing nuclear subs just a couple of miles off their shores at any one time.
