Pedal Electric Generator Make Free Energy at Home 100 + watts - Charge Batteries

There was no welding on this project, best to use a lower voltage 24v permanent magnet motor only, you can find them online for around 40$. A quick video on a homemade electrical pedal generator using an old corded lawn mower motor, v-belt, free find bike and some 2x4s. I say free energy because when you do all the peddling the energy is provided from your efforts and not from the power company. I can use this generator to charge sealed lead acid batteries, Lifp04, deep cycle lead acid flooded batteries also supper capacitors etc. A lawn mower motor can produce 120v DC if spun fast enough, treat this like any electrical outlet in your home with respect this video is just for entertainment purposes use a low voltage motor or 12v alternator. I'm not really a Prepper but I think its important to contain some knowledge on how to generate a small amount of your own energy in case of a unexpected power outage. I lived thought a ice storm once where the power was out for a week some people really struggled but I was prepared. In a power outage this could be very useful to charge up batteries, than you can run an inverter off the battery to charge phones, run electronics, power small appliances light etc. This would be perfect for someone living in an apartment building where a gas powered generator can not be used, for an emergency power outage or just exercise and store up some free energy to save on bills. This pedal generator was built from all free materials motor is from a corded 120v lawn mower, I removed the rectifier and only use the 2 wires on the motor I installed a v belt pulley onto the motor, I built the pedestal out of 2x4s and attached the bike down with all round strapping and used a long v belt use a 10 amp diode or more.
If you cant find a free motor you can buy a DC brushed motor online like Amazon if you look for a reasonable price around 40$ than you can put this together on the cheap. Music from Youtube copyright free library: Engine Fire - Silent Partner.

Find yourself an OLD exercise bicycle. The kind with only one wheel. Up front. Difference with these is the wheel is heavy. It's essentially a big flywheel. Newer ones use lighter wheels.

if you want to power 100 watts with less effort use a smaller generator. i mean much smaller. a tiny water pump from a washing machine can do 100 watts if you add a capacitor of 1 uf 250v in series with load.

well now I have some old bikes motors batteries inverters lumber and so on. I also have a 12 year old who seems to think he would like to spend every waking moment playing on his computer I have been thinking of making something like this for a while now. Im thinking of aiming for around 5 min on 5 min off Ill need to find a battery with just the right capacity lol hahahahaha hohoho if I do it I might win the A-hole parent of the year
