These can also be blended to make drinks or be added on top of yogurt for parfaits, it’s great

This makes ABSOLUTE sense! 😍 The sugar already pulling most of the water out the fruit, so you're also saving on energy that you would need to dry them.. Damn! ♥

both of these are perfect for tea flavors and kid snacks. I'm always learning new ways to cook when I come to this channel.

As a kid in the 70s we'd set the pan on top of the car and my siblings and I would sit on the car and fan to make sure no bugs would get in the fruit leather 😁 come to think of it my Mom was brilliant, we were kept busy for hours 🤣🤣 hmmm the good ol' days!! I miss them

This is very similar to "Qamardiin" which is made from apricots. We rehydrate the leather and blend to make a delicious drink

a hack for helping things dry out in a regular oven is crack the door with like a cooking utensil etc so light doesn't stay on but it also lets some of the moisture out.

You can do this to make jerky over like 8 hours

Fruit leather is pretty good. My neighbor makes them in the summer to deal with the access apricots from her tree. Literally just blends it all up and puts it out in the sun to dry.

Blend it in two parts, just peaches as well as peaches and berries. You’d be able to create an awesome swirl pattern with yellow and red

I absolutely love finding new ways to make scraps edible.
I mean, they're all technically edible if we count the bugs eating it in the eventual decomposition stage, but if I find ways for my human self to eat them, I don't have to buy as much produce and further industrialise the world, even just in minute ways.
