It's simple: If this was really Odin, he would've stopped Mjolnir. Also in this movie it really shows that Thor is growing as a character. Before Ragnarok he was just the pretty looking, dummy brute. But in Ragnarok he finally starts to think with his brain more. He doesn't fall for Loki's tricks after being lied for so long.
