You may say anything you want, but for a high school orchestra to perform this well despite their numbers is a feat in and of itself

This does'nt sound bad at all, it's live the sound track is digitally enhanced with synthesisers, so you can't compare the two, for a school band this is outstanding.Well Done.

I love how people are all like 'it wasn't that good' ... Unless your Hans Zimmer I don't think you should judge them badly.  They look like Highschool students.. pretty good for Highschool.

at times I appreciate the slowness and how unique this rendition of hans zimmer's piece are, but at other times it feels sluggish and doesn't deliver the same "oomph" at key moments.

The tempo is way to slow. This director seems to be going for more of a "Regal" interpretation instead of the slightly quicker tempo that leans more toward a degree of anxiety, a feeling that something is about to happen! The kids did a fine job!

i miss the heavy drums a bit, but thats mighty fine considering its not like a high end orchestra conducted by Hans himself

beautifully played, but a bit too technical. what I missed most was the emotion I felt when watching the movie and feeling the relief in almost losing your life, but just making it.

I love the selection. The performance was respectable, but it could have been better. There were some wrong notes, and the articulations could have been better at times, especially in the brass. I know the OST was partially synthetic, but still. If I were playing this piece as a brass player, knowing how the original sounded, I would approach that as a challenge and try to emulate that sound as best I could.

C'est très beau, je dirais même parfait, mais n'est-ce pas un peu trop sage, à l'image du directeur ? ;-)
