Hello. This is a great demo sir! I'll be using these locations to memorize some foreign vocabulary, I'm sure you won't mind :) When you do the reviewing, do you walk or "teleport" from one location to the next and how big or small does objects appear in your minds eye? Also, are the surroundings detailed or just sort of blurry or do you need to visualize them at all to help you know where you are? Thanks in advance!

Why wouldn't you put loci close together for memory sports, while you would for education? What specific advantage does it give you for memory sports that you don't feel you need (at least as much) for education? How do the conditions of an educational setting make it more attractive to put loci close together, etc?

I use mnemonics (acronyms, acrostics) and correspondences of associations (e.g., 1, Red, Gun, Dot). I have never used memory palaces.
