Yes, I have a job, but it doesn't pay me enough to make end's meet. I'm looking for a new one right now, but I dread every single day I have to clock in to this minimum-wage nightmare.

I don't hate my job. I hate that I don't have full confidence with it. Im new, and I feel like a puppy in a dog park. Im grateful for my job and I'm grateful for my pay, but I worry ill do a bad job, and I have no fear of losing my job as a consequence of doing a bad job, I just hate the idea of doing a bad job or feeling like I'm behind while doing my job. If I could have full confidence and knowledge with my job, I wouldn't dread it, but I dread it because I know that when I go to work I have a potential of messing up, and if I did mess up, it would lower my confidence even more. I wasn't raised with being confident with my abilities.

It used to be TGIF but recently it's been TGIS (Thank God its SATURDAY) because I am off and free to enjoy LIFE!!! Sunday is just a dreadful reminder that Monday is right around the corner🤦🏾‍♀️. Such a sad state to be in. I'm definitely planning an exit.

I really want to thank you for making this video. It has helped me feel much better about my situation. Currently I wake up every day feeling depressed, burnt out, and I often think about how nice it would be if the coronavirus could just kill me so I don't need to deal with all this anymore. Sorry to anyone that had people they know die from the disease but this is honestly how I'm feeling every day. Taking your advice, I will re-evaluate the value of my work and who I want to serve.

I remember when i was hired at a new company, and gave my job 2 weeks notice. Those 2 weeks were literally so good lol 😂

Being micromanaged is being micromanaged... can’t create value when you are being told what you need to do almost every minute

The exit plan is the best part, I plan on staying at my job for one year. I love how each month roles by saying 7 months to go, 6 months to go, ect. I still have 8 months left but its moving :)

Everyone says "If you don't like it then leave!" That's why these videos are all the same. I'm 46 and I cold call for a living. Unlike the usual 20 something year old who does this sort of job, I'm good at it because I've been doing it my entire 'career'. Hence, I make a lot more $ than those who are in my position. And, my expenses require that I make this kind of $, so starting over at another career isn't an option. It's like a prison sentence. I hate sales and I really don't like people very much. Cold calling will help anyone hone their dislike of people. This is my fault though, I'm the one who let time get away from me. Any young person who's reading this - don't let this happen to you. Don't settle for a job you hate. You will wake up and you're in your 40's and it's just too late to switch. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I have a job that has COMPLETELY changed in just the course of a year! A boss I loved was fired, they put someone in her place with no experience in my field, upper management doesn't care, and I don't feel like I have a voice anymore or that my concerns even matter to them. It got so bad last year that I was on medication for anxiety and depression, just to be able to get through the day there. I'm trying hard to focus on the things I do like (close to home, pay is good, fairly easy job) but there are days when I don't want to be there. I will eventually have a retirement if I stick it out for a few more years, but when you are unhappy in a job, a few years feels like a million years!
