Faceless videos still work really great for me on my second channel. I mean, I am just small content creator and I work really hard (I also use a little bit of fame ster, but that's a necessity nowadays). I just give all my videos small initial boost, and that caused them to spread literally everywhere, bringing more and more organic views day after day.

Starting was absolutely the hardest part. It took me 4 years to finally start after so many excuses! It's been a few months and I'm so glad I finally got going. Your channel has helped simplify SO many aspects and is making the journey much more manageable. I wish I started sooner! Thank you for helping everyone with awesome content like this 🙂

Im so happy to see this video. My channel is faceless. Its a coastal decor site and i dont feel i need to be in it. Sometimes a film after work or times where I’m not like presentable and it’s just so much easier to keep me out of it instead of having to dress up, put make up on and just look camera ready all the time.

I met the monetization requirements today, in less than 5 months. There is no face or commentary, just skill and hard work. Everything is possible.

I started my (mostly) faceless channel as a way to just get used to YouTube and understand how it works without having my face all over the Internet, and now I actually want to see how far I can go without being on camera full time - I use a lot of props, photos, and extra footage to get things done, and I focus on my voice, editing and scripting to make sure that the listeners get the non-verbal clues they're missing that way. It's totally possible, and makes you think creatively! Glad to see this video from vidIQ, it's a great morale boost 🙂

Started my channel a few weeks ago. Really enjoy learning to get to know the basics of editing and stuff and trying to grow a small community at the same time.
Hope all of you guys succeed on your YT journey!

I’m one of those people it really gets easier over time it’s given me more confidence in myself that anxiety fear and being afraid of people judging the way I look has lessened a lot it’s one of those things it sounds scarier than it actually is if you make good content people don’t really care what you look like or are going to make a massive deal out of it it was much worse in my head than it actually is

Man, I feel like without showing your face is harder to gain subs, so respect to those who go big without there face or voice, it’s crazy. And I know you can all do it! Your channel can’t get much worst than it is, only better!

I started my mine recently and put my first video out. It’s a long process to do faceless but it’s worth the effort. I can see how my editing skills have improved already (I have 10 videos scheduled).

Your the only reason I have faith in my channel😊

Another idea that I use:

I use a sort of semi-animated avatar with sprites instead of my face and that works really well for me. It also functions as a recognizable face that can emote too.

I started my channel this year and it's mostly without showing face. Tons of respect for the creator space it is tough and super awarding!

Some of these ideas like the (meditation) channel used to work years ago. However YouTube is really cracking down on channels like this due to repetitive content policy. You'll get the views but when it comes time to monetize you'll get denied.

art commentary and speed paints with just music or talk also don't have to have your face. they are nice to and they can include fandom art and ocs. it can be mixed with animation on the same channel if you want as well

You'd be surprised how much people who run a faceless YouTube channel use Famester to boost their content.

For years, I just never started a channel because I never had an idea of what I wanted to do, but when Rings of Power came out. I made the plunge and met some great people who I do a live stream with every Saturday and I don't regret it one single bit. I also found out I am surprisingly very comfortable with giving commentary so that's how I found that inspiration. For those who still haven't taken the plunge: find something you're passionate about, and try everything. You can be a commentary change about anythingl without ever showing your face, but know you'll have to work extra hard to fill in those gaps in your video footage that would've been easy to cover with camera footage. I do it and it isn't hard, but it took constant trial and error to finally get it. Also, get good at writing good scripts, summarizing what you're commentating about so you don't drag a conversation too long that your audience will disengage. Again, that depends on your audience and what content you eventually acclimate them to. All in all, take the plunge.

For me it is the consistency of uploading, I really need more ideas when it comes to video creation

I'm actually doing a gardening channel without showing my face. I've had some experience with YouTube before, but it's been a while starting from 0. I'll see how it goes, and if I get used to the idea, whoknows, my face might pop in!

Pet channels are another great example. I tend to show my hands, occasionally the back or side of my face but primarily I focus on my mice and include commentary or music 😊
