We can all agree it's not luck that made you successful my man. Respect for your hard work!

Hopefully this inspires other content creators to go further and beyond, knowing that it's not just luck.

chasing the algorithm is so stressful for some reason after your first video goes viral you start to chase that feeling again, so when he cried I felt that

Plenty of people make incredible content but don’t receive the recognition they deserve. I firmly believe that while skill plays a part, the luck needed is massively underestimated, particularly by people who are unaware they have received this luck. The majority of youtubers will tell you it’s 99% skill because they have the bias of having a lucky experience - the question itself cannot be asked to a youtuber without being biased, since if they were unlucky, they were never asked.

The fact is I don’t watch your channel and yet I watched this whole video, and that’s not because you were lucky. It’s because you know how to keep people engaged

Subscribed. I'm really amazed how honest you are about making another unknown channel unlike other youtubers. SALUTE!

This video is amazing, it gives the small creators like myself to keep adapting. Thank you!

Awesome vid Isaiah!
I think every creator agrees that skill is at the core of *continued* youtube success, but the first big hit to find the right audience, that’s often harder — and that’s what takes the time & practice.

As Tom Sachs says, “the reward for good work is more work”

“Luck” is the result of hard work
Just like “talent” is the result of practice.

I would say it is 50% skill and 50% luck. I have seen many skilled YouTubers who don't have enough views that they deserve.

I really love and appreciate these videos, so helpful, though it would be so awesome to see someone new and unexperienced showing them from start to monetized.

The problem is that there may be people out there who have great video-making skills but don’t have the marketing skill required to take off, especially if their content is for a niche audience. For that case, the luck factor is huge as to whether they succeed or not.

Started a random channel 28 days ago. 10k subs, 9 million views. It’s 99% skill

I love how Isaiah didn’t win the MrBeast challenge yet he is still the most successful out of all four.

It's all about skills, perseverance, persistence, patience, and ability to handle disappointments. Love you bro. I learn a lot from you.

That was a pretty lofty goal. I've had a channel for nearly three years and I gained only 1-2 subscribers a day. Sometimes less, never more. It's been brutally painful and it seems as if the algorithm is never in my favor but even if I had only 1 subscriber, I'd still do what I do because it's what I like to do.

Can we have a round of applause for this guy? He started the whole passing famous people in subscribers trend

I have been subbed to this channel since it was in the 100k's, and I know that it's not luck that made you successful, it's hard work, keep the awesome work up Isaiah, keep it up.

Came for the concept, stayed for hacks like wrapping tripods around your neck for POV shots

Great video! I'm around a year in and although I feel like I've had a load of luck to reach where I am today, I am but a blip in comparison to many creators. It's definitely a grind and requires a lot of work, dedication and skill to reach the "luck level".
Thanks for sharing.
