I remember owning some of those things-I was a kid in the 80’s. It was a great time, I had a Walkman and it was good to be able to listen to the music I wanted, I even remembered getting a movie soundtrack on cassette as a birthday present from my fav uncle. You forgot to put in game and watches, my brother got a 2 screened colour one and that was such a big deal. I remember he had a calculator watch and yes schools didn’t like you owning them. The 80’s was a great era to live in, it had good music (I’m a fan of most of the 80’s music, I still own some cassettes), not good with fashion-it seemed to be the era of giant shoulder pads, it was a fun era, so different from today.

I want a time machine to go back to my favorite decade of my childhood. While I've seen all of these things, I've only owned 5 or 6 of them.

Dude, another RO player? Thanks for bringing back some good college memories from around 2003/2004 with friends. Still hoping one day my old crew and I can get back in, and tackle the Forest Labyrinth near Pront.

Quick correction on the C64, it was just 16-color, not 16-bit color. 16-bit color wasn't until PCs could use SuperVGA cards in the later part of the decade.

I still had a Record Player up until I got a Tape deck in 89! Got a Walkman in 90, and a VCR in.93.

I remember & utilized most of this tech in the 80's.
I've interacted with boomboxes before '87 & were used & shown in many 80's films such as "Breakin" & "Beat Street" to name a few. I myself owned a Tiger Game of Simon's Quest & beat it many times...YAY🥳.
The past really was important...

W/O records=No CD's
W/O cd's=No MP3😭

Need I go on🙄?

It was the era with a lot more varieties. Now, smartphone swallowed most of gadgets in 80's and 90's....

I owned all the things in this video. Programmed an autodialer on my c64 to find carriers, got into lots of systems, went into the IT business and got out my ghetto neighborhood.
