I had the Soul Silver and Heart Gold and the Diamond and Pearl books. My dad got them from yard sales, which were very tattered. I cherished them and tried to take care of them to the best of my ability. I still have them.

I have mine still! The cover is messed up, but it's still intact. I absolutely love it, it was my go-to for my every strategy. I was the type of person to plan out my ENTIRE team for every HM. So, I would have a non-water type for Surf and a water type for Waterfall and this book made it SO easy back then to do that when I didn't have internet access.

As someone who collects pokemon guides, love this one. This, diamond/perals (most are split except platinum and USM and Oras, if you don't care about the Pokédex), Heart Gold and Soul Silver, Colosseum and the sun and moon guides are my personal favourites.

I had the ORAS guide growing up. Got it at the Scholastic Book fair in elementary school. Makes sense they made guide for the other games. Pretty cool!

I had the HGSS one, it showed how to get certain pokemon across all main gen 4 games which was really cool since it helped me in platinum a bit
