Poké Radar Shiny Hunting Tutorial | Diamond/Pearl/Platinum |

HIYA!
Here is a guide for shiny hunting using the Poké Radar in Generation four (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum).

So its not like we really NEEDED another tutorial but one hasn't been made in a while and if I stream a Radar hunt people usually ask how to do it so that is mainly the reason for the video :)

I have done a few Radar Shiny Hunts and if you buckle down and make it through the chain than its a fun way to find a shiny! The tutorial might not be perfect perfect but I have been working on it for quite some time!

Don't forget: Don't breathe while chaining, it will break your chain

Another important note, if you got bad grass patch placement, and want to use the pokeradar again you HAVE to make sure that at least one of the grass patches that shook stay on screen. Otherwise your chain will break when it goes off screen.

Thank you very much. After 5 hours I finally got the shiny Ralts I wanted. Am so happy!!! I wasn't sure if I had the patience to sit there using the poke radar but it paided off.

I wish I knew all these rules when I was hunting as a kid. I remember I spent so much time hunting ditto and got as high as a 42 chain once, but I didn’t know that you can just keep resetting once you hit 40 and I never got that shiny 😭 this video will definitely be useful when I redo the hunt, thank you!

I’m just getting back into handheld Pokémon games! This was confusing a little bit with the radar thing! I was very young when I played these, young enough to not really have any sense of direction in the game. Pretty much just used to walk in grass as playing Pokémon lol I’ll keep watching until I get it fully! Great video man!

I am so relieved I watched this, I had no idea that catching the pokemon increased the chances of it reappearing, I pretty much never caught the pokemon during chains.

But I also thought you only needed a chain of 30 odd ^^;
