I don’t know how but you’ve managed to package an unbiased analysis that is more entertaining than the sensationalized segment of economic and financial news. Thank you for your efforts to be the signal and not the noise. I understand that the economy is currently in a downturn and that we must wait for things to get better

These companies pushed it to the limit. They took full advantage of the consumers.

They worst part is, whatever money ends up in government, they will just waste most of it.

They never count Recessions until corporations are hurting. And yet demand falling is how corporations end up hurting. So basically, they don't give a crap about the common man.

Im 26, make 250k a year, live with 2 other roommates. People and some of my family call me crazy "Why don't you just live alone?? Why do you drive a 2004 car???"

I pay $1000 a month in rent and live under 2 miles away from my office, gonna actually just get rid of my car and cut that expense out of my life too.

Consumerism is a disease.

We should all just stop spending our money at ALL these places. We need some new corporations that value being fair to consumers. We need a whole new world with corporations with actual compassionate human values.

I've always been fiscally tight and fiscally responsible. As a consequence my house is paid for, my rental properties are paid for, all my cars are paid for, and I pay my one VISA credit card in full every month. I also repair my cars to save even more money. The feeling of being free from debt is intoxicating. I'm 62.

I got this notification seconds after I swiped my card for $550 at Costco for basics. I’m spending $800 a month for a family of five up here. Used to be $450 a month. I’ve gone through my recipts and if you look at individual items it didn’t seem too bad but it’s the total bill that’s important. I make over 120 a year and I’m struggling bad. Idk how anyone is still buying houses.

The only place where the budget increases is the federal government.

Dont worry, they'll just lay off employees to make up for the profits. Then make everyone else pick up the slack

My wife is a manager at KOHL'S. She says it is dang near impossible to find & hire anyone under 30 with actual work ethics. Constant call off's, complaining about work schedules, showung up under the influence of something, leaving work in mid shift, and an overall attitude of entitlement. Its crazy. She says occasionally we get a new hire thats a good fit, and they go overboard to keep them and move them up to compensate their efforts both in pay and promotions.
This is an excellent video with solid, real life advice.
