We have to throw the blankets out on the planes i clean. I usually take a bunch home during the winter. I wash them and then take them to places like homeless/animal shelters.

You forgot one thing WatchMojo: There are NO pens to fill out customs forms. And don't ask if you can borrow one because flight attendants are required to have a pen on them at all times. So if you're traveling internationally, NEVER forget a pen for the customs form.

There’s that, and the fact that overbooking is something done on purpose despite the knowledge that someone is going to get kicked off the plane. Isn’t that effectively lying to the customer?

I work at an airport. Granted I fuel them but I do know some behind the scene info.
1)Most of the water comes from bottles (at least at my location)
2) Most of your planes are actually broken in some way and you don’t know it. If you ever see someone working on a plane. It’s broken

So in conclusion: planes are gross!! That's why I always carry sanitary wipes and wipe everything down! Especially the hand rests and the tray tables. Those are nasty.

All the flights I've been on the headphones and eye masks are always in sealed packets, but yeah the pillows and blankets I try not to use, mostly because they aren't comfortable.

i work for an airline, i don't know about other airline but i think some aren't true

#9: fragile items aren't actually toss around like you said. people thought human are the one who caused damage but actually not. the conveyor belt is actually the want to blame for.
#8: we serve water from brand new bottle. and have been inspected
#7 used blanket or pillow will be replaced after flight. we actually have replacement store in some compartment
