The question is can u crack the code with the hints? Therefore answer would b Yes..unless it says crack the code with these clues.

You're adding rules on the fly!!!
It's not written anywhere that the first and the second hint are talking about the same number, so 6 cannot be ruled out .
When we combine the first and second hint the 6 can be, even, in the first position! since the second rule could not be talking about the 6. When we only look at the two first hints we can say that the first hint is talking about the 6 "correct and well placed" therefore the second rule is NOT talking about the 6 that is already well placed, is talking about the other 2 numbers.
The code 062 also matches with all rules. So this problem really has 2 solutions.
