I went to throw trash away into a garbage can and when I opened the lid there was a racoon sitting there. I waved and it just looked at me, I closed the lid and left. One of my cats was the smartest animal I met. He saved me during my seizures.

Why does this guy insist on calling apes monkeys? Especially the great apes, like orangutans, bonobos and chimpanzees? He’d probably call gorillas monkeys too. Hey Narrator, if it doesn’t have a tail, it isn’t a monkey, it’s an ape and there is a huge difference between monkeys and apes, especially in intelligence.

I always knew pigs were the smartest farm animal because my father raised pigs, among other livestock, but the hogs were the most intelligent. They could figure out all kinds of latches to get free. He had a favorite breed sow named Sally.

She loved to have her back brushed with a stiff bristled brush, so my father put a hook on the end of a brush handle and hung it in her pen. Whenever she wanted her back brushed, she’d go get the brush off the hook, bring it to my father and then turn around and sit with her back in front of him. She recognized many words. She was good at outsmarting our dogs.

Whenever we hear “dolphin”, most of us think of the Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Are they the most intelligent of all dolphins? In this video, even the aquarium in Hawaii was using Atlantic bottlenose dolphins for their study, rather than Pacific species of dolphins or porpoises. I guess I could get off my ass and research that myself? I think I will, because now I’m curious.

All of the Sea World and Marineland parks here in Florida and on the east coast use the Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, but I just thought that was because that’s the species we have here in the Atlantic and Gulf Of Mexico.
