5R55E Input Speed Sensor Location

Our shop puts a new one in every one, weather it test good or not. Were gladly to spend 35-40 dollars so we dont have pull it out a second time, not to mention to have a pissed off customer .

so to replace the solenoid harness how do you disconnect the wire that goes up to the turbine speed sensor

How do you determine the type of 5R55E It is and if sensors are on the outside?

I just repaired one out of a 2002 explorer sport track for no reverse I replaced the band and servo seals but still no reverse.... what could be fault?
