GM wanted mid engine Corvette for decades, in fact as early as 70’s they made 3 prototypes, all turned down. Perhaps they’re finally getting what they wanted

As a fan of Corvettes from 1956-57, 61-62 and 1963-67 (coupes only) here is my take. IF they are going to make both mid and front engine Corvettes the mid-engine MUST be called the ZORA, period! He always wanted one and out of respect, it SHOULD be called The Zora👈

Only guessing but the car in this video is likely just quieter because that's what happens when you put turbos on something.

The good news, though, is that turbos mean easy tuning for extra ponies.

The proportions look weird to me, it looks too tall. But At least it has a V8 and not a V6 like people were saying it would have.

This is badass, I'm glad America is finally making mid engine supercars. The ZR1 today is still a supercar in a way but mid engine is always better like the Ford GT supercar. America can have a complete set of their primary supercar list with the Ford GT, Zora Corvette and Have Dodge or Chrysler make a mid engine viper...
