How To Go to a Specific Worksheet Based on Image or by Selecting an Image
In this excel tutorial for beginners, I'll demonstrate how to go to a certain worksheet based on an image. It is an excellent way for worksheets navigation and dashboard creation. Let me explain the scenario we are working on. We have four worksheets; Dashboard, Product, Revenue and Expense. We need to add three images as buttons on the dashboard worksheet, each associated with a worksheet. If we click on a picture, it will redirect us to its designated worksheet.
We will use excel's built-in feature to achieve this, and I will not use any VBA here. Let's get started.
First, you need to insert a picture. You can either upload an image from your device or get an image from the web. Here we are using an image from the web and follow the steps below to go to a specific worksheet by selecting an image.
Step 1: Click on the insert menu.
Step 2: Click on Picture Dropdown from the Illustration menu group
Step 3: Select "Online Picture"
Step 4: Click on Bing Image Search
Step 5: Search, and once you find your preferred image, click on insert.
Step 6: Resize your image according to your need.
Step 7: Right-click on the image and click on the link.
Step 8: Select "Place in this Document"
Step 9: Select the sheet name and write the cell number where you want to re-direct.
Step 10: Click Ok and click on any cell on your worksheet.
Now, whenever you click on that image, it will redirect you to your predefined worksheet.
