Rise FM is hosted by "Andre The Accelerator" and plays four to the floor style electronic dance music. The playlist in the game is presented as a continuous liveset which is being played and broadcast live from a nightclub called the Planetarium. This station does not feature any commercials. Rise FM is one of the Colombian Cartel's favorite stations. Rise FM is also the name of a real-life internet radio station which is owned and run by Denmark-based Rise Future Media. However, it is in no way connected to the GTA version.

This reminds me of my local station around that time that played about the same type of music and on weekends they'd have live mixes from clubs around town. THE BEST radio station I was fortunate enough to listen to as a kid at 12-13 years old. RIP 106.7 KDL Dallas, Texas. I wished I was 10 years older at that time to have gone to clubs to listen to that live, man would I give alot to experience THIS GOD tier music live. It's just not the same anymore.

rise fm forever ! So many memories with trance and gta 3!! this soundtrack is the best I only listened to rise fm in the game and the dj is crazy like the video game is ! I never finished the game I only wanted to have fun but my bestie he played it until the end for me so I got the whole world missions were too crazy for me and I was a teenager but I loved the game the fun and all cheat codes I do remember still !

About 10:34-12:00 - when the beat drops listened to the first morning sunrise you can get accross the Bridge after working for the Yakuza - in their car, this blasting from the TV
. . . . .i mean car stereo and that Liberty City sunrise - pure gaming bliss from the Era of "I own the game in the box" gaming.
Possibly one of the most influential games ever made.

I'm still trying to find that CD that came free with a certain gaming magazine in the UK. It had the same DJ but with different tracks on. It was a grand theft auto 3 promo music CD. It was the best! If anyone knows what it is called, then please share it.

I remember having been listening RISEFM when DimeBag Darrel was killed from Pantera, on the same table it was BACK TO BAGHDAD II Desert Storm, It scared me a lot. RAW means Robert Anton Wilson. ha ha. Those were Playstation versions.
