How come I’ve never heard of Alfasoni? Where is that? What a store! It’s an unbelievable accomplishment to have created such a career from the basic desire to follow your passion. In a world of Taylor Swifts, Keith Urbans, Coldplays, etc., the little guy hasn’t a chance, but you’ve proven it is possible to have a fulfilling musicians life on the smaller stage. The amount of preparation that is put into touring is immense; the amount of "just in case" things I take is mind boggling. 95% of the time, I don't need it, but I know what will happen if I leave such things behind. When providing production for a show, I often have panicked musicians saying "I've lost my guitar cable, do you have a spare?".... or "I left my mic at the last venue, can you lend me one...?". To all the musicians out there (especially those who are new to touring); try not to panic, the production folks among us will do our best to look after you.

In 2012 I went in to my local guitar shop to finally buy a Martin D-1 i had been playing once or twice a week for about a month when my friend and I would go to the music store. There were two identical spec D-1s, and someone was playing the one I wanted. So, while waiting, we noticed they had some new Taylor's in and picked them up to try. "Oh, shit..." was what came out of my mouth when I strummed a G chord for the first time. I played it for about 20 minutes, and then I bought it. Still own it to this day. I wanted to be a Martin player, but sometimes they just speak to you and completely change your mind
