Doordash is Forcing us to become Top Dashers…

Doordash needs to be sued. This is a prime example of how they are treating 1099 contractors as employees. Drivers are not employees and therefore should not be subjected to merit within a company. A 1099 contractor is free to decline work without fear of punishment. I hope a class action lawsuit is filed against them.

I just became top Dasher, after trying for months. And even though I can dash anytime, I still honestly truly don't think it's worth it. Having to accept orders less than a dollar per mile just to have my acceptance rate up above 70 it's not worth it. And I still get crappy orders a lot.

It’s been difficult to stay a top dasher when they think you will drive 10 miles for $5. I thought the higher your AR the better orders but I am NOT seeing that.

If they don’t want people to decline orders, stop allowing people to leave 0.00 tips. Should be a minimum tip.

You wanna know what's hilarious? Ive been parked sitting in my car in a "busy zone" for the past 10 minutes waiting on an order, ive been dashing 1.5 hours and made $16 only so far, im in a super populated and rich city and its 8pm on a weeknight and i should be getting significantly better orders right now. My acceptance order is 63% which isnt awful

This guy is probably the only guy I enjoy listening to. He’s smart, sharp, observant, and tells you exactly what’s going on. I fully agree. I’m a top dasher that’s refusing to deliver charity orders. In response, DoorDash keeps me waiting for a long time between orders and I go home with peanuts. I really wish that DoorDash goes out of business and to see Tony working in McDonald’s for $7 an hour. That will make my day.

DoorDash used to be really good last year and I was making good money I still make decent money but it’s annoying how many people think we’ll deliver their food for $0 tip people are crazy

Yeh it sucks sometimes I get $3 or $4 deliverys that's trying to take me 9 to 10 miles away, and I'm like hell naw but lowers my acceptance rate, it's not fair sometimes they need to raise the basic rate cuz these gas prices out here is not a joke.
