I personally would rather stay as an independent contractor. If they required u to accept every offer then they better be willing to offer their own vehicles to drive! They cant have it both ways IMO

It's only in a small area in NY that they want to try to do 15 min delivery times. So they have to have drivers available so they hire em as employees... It might happen in other huge cities but that's only place they can do it.. and they can't FORCE us to be employees and they don't want us to be either cause their labor cost would be way way way way to high.

You should really get a phone mount. We dont want you getting into an accident holding the phone and camera at the same time. Be safe buddy im a pretty much a new sub.

If you could pick your region then everyone would pick the high paying regions and neglect the bad ones. As a W2 you wont get to pick and choose anymore, and doordash is going to do this because they know independent contractors will be nit picky, they want to end that entirely and they are going to do it slowly like a frog being cooked in boiling water. They realize the independent contractor route is causing too many deliveries to be late or not fulfilled at all

2:27 go for it bro. I ended up with two orders of the Mountain Melt last weekend because a customer decided to threaten me (long story). Portion size was huge, was so good and I don't normally like to eat stuff like that.
