Tried this one this morning and it works like a dream. Only thing was I couldn't get it to work by placing the zip file into the folder in the programme but the other method (putting it into my drive) works just fine.

For anyone who runs into the EXCEPTION : No features exists for this model yet. Did you run FEATURE EXTRACTION?

I might have a fix no one mentionned here, since I used to train models successfully before and ran into the error today.

It might be because your audio file is not being recognized, can’t be read, is corrupted, etc. Now I use a pc to train and keep my audio files on mac, so I zip (compress into an archive) my audio file on my mac and paste it in a discord to download on my pc. Recently I noticed that this process makes that my audio file can’t be read for some reason on my pc after. But if I don’t zip the file on my mac and just paste it in the discord like it is and download it on my pc, I can read it.

So make sure you can read and hear your audio file correctly before zipping it for training. Make sure it is in .wav format of course and put it in a folder with the name (so one folder deep only) and zip that folder (don’t use .rar). Make sure you wait for it to be downloaded in your google drive before the next steps in the tuto.

When you do the Load Dataset, Preprocessing and Feature Extraction, Save preprocessed dataset, it shouldn’t be instant or too quick to do. The Preprocessing should have « all-feature-done » at the end and the Save preprocessed should have a bunch of lines with the title of your experiment_name in.

Also something new I didn’t need to do before popped up while launching the training. It asked for a pretrained model so just scroll back to find the code for Download Pretrained Model and run it. Run your Training again.
